  • Card Status: Open

    On 5/6/26 we received 1 large box that had 2 smaller boxes in it. Each smaller box had a clear plastic bag inside that contained the Fresh Osha Root for processing. We believe this shipment stayed in Transit too long and has become unusable. Shipping details show ship date 5/1/26 standard transit to arrive before 5/7/26 12:00 PM. Package was received at 12:43 on 5/6/26. Photos of the shipping details will be included and are in the QC Production Photos 2026 file.

    Box # 1: All of the product in this box is very slimy and has a film-like substance on it. Large parts of this box smelled rancid upon removal and weighing. After removal, there was also a large puddle of water that had pooled in the bottom of the Clear plastic bag the Osha was shipped in. Pictures were taken and can be found in the QC Production Photos 2026 file.

    Box # 2: Has an overwhelming bad/rancid smell. These roots also had dark color on the crowns of the Root. Mold was present on many of the roots. This box also had water that pooled in the bottom of the clear plastic bag and formed a sizable puddle. The Osha Root in this box has a slimy, waterlogged look to it. There is also a film like substance on all of the product that was in box # 2. Pictures were taken and can be found in the QC Production Photos 2026 file. Steven Yeager and Tim Mull came to Madrone to assess if this product was viable or not and it was determined that no, we could not use it.
